Emerging Knights team to play against the Cricket Ireland Academy and Leinster Lightning Bolts on Wednesday 31st July and Thursday 1st August respectively at Waringstown CC in the Future Series 50 overs competition.
Chair of Selectors Andrew Cowden commented on the fourth and final Emerging Knights squad announcement of the season:
“After a positive start against the Emerging Warriors and Munster Heat in the future series 50 overs competition, we now aim to back these good performances up against the Cricket Ireland Academy and Leinster Bolts this week.
The selectors have selected a squad of 12 for both fixtures players with James Hunter, Mo Aahil and Sam Topping (cricket commitments in England) all unavailable. The only changes to the squad from the last match against Munster Heat is that Jack Dickson replaces Mo Aahil and Aditya Adey is added to the squad.
This is another exciting and talented young squad and we wish CJ and his squad all the very best this week.”
