Emerging Knights team to play against the Munster Heat on Tuesday 23rd July at Railway Union CC in the Future Series 50 overs competition.
Chair of Selectors Andrew Cowden commented on the third Emerging Knights squad announcement of the season:
“After a positive start against Emerging Warriors in the Future Series 50 overs competition, we now aim to back this good performance and result up against Munster Heat on Tuesday.
The selectors have selected a squad of 12 players with James Hunter, Jack Dickson, Finn Lutton and Sam Topping (cricket commitments in England) all unavailable. Ollie Metcalfe replaces James Hunter in the squad and Ewan Wilson has been added to the squad following his recent injury recovery to provide further batting and bowling options.
This is another exciting and talented young squad and we wish CJ and his squad all the very best on Tuesday.”
