The draw for the 2024 Schools Cup has thrown up a number of mouth-watering ties. Probably the most intriguing is the meeting of the RBAI and Campbell College second teams at Osborne. The meeting of the great rivals is one of eight first round ties.
Grosvenor will not relish the trip to Foyle College, whilst Coleraine will make the long trip to Royal School Armagh and Limavady Grammar School will travel to Friends School Lisburn.
Reigning champions RBAI have a bye in to the second round, but face the prospect of playing great rivals Methodist College Belfast or Belfast High School.
Fellow kingpins Campbell College have also received a bye in to the second round and will play the winner of the all second team first round match.
The first round ties have to be played on or before 26 April 2024.
