2-Day Interprovincial Match Between Ulster Schools and Leinster Schools Ends In A Draw

The 2-day game came to a fitting draw with the very last ball of the match being bowled. 

Batting first, Ulster Schools were 142 all out after 44.4 overs with Adam Heasley top scoring with 31, closely followed by Clarke, Aahil and Crothers all making starts but being out in the 20s. Leinster Schools then scored 342 dec and took the lead in the 2-day game. Jacob Scarlett took 3-40 and Michael Skelly 2-49 and were the pick of the Ulster bowlers. In their 2nd innings, Ulster Schools finished on 203-9 with Tom Crothers hitting an admirable 78 runs and Ryan Clarke with 34 of his own. The game went down to the last ball with Leinster Schools needing 1 wicket to win but the Ulster Schools managed to hold out for a draw.
