In the second and final fixture for the Knights U19 against the MCC, the Knights recorded a 3-wicket win with 21 overs to spare in the chase.
Customarily batting first, the MCC posted a total of 141 all out with opening batsman E.Filer top scoring with a well-made 64. The MCC found themselves in a spot of bother with the next 6 batsmen failing to pass 10 runs each until C.McMorran and G.Williams chipped in with 18 and 13 respectively. A.Kennedy and C.McCullough recorded the best figures for the Knights taking 2-13 and 2-15 with M.Skelly chipping in with 2 wickets on his NCU Youth representative debut.
In the chase, a couple of early wickets for the MCC put a bit of pressure on the Knights but Harry Dyer made his way to 42 before being dismissed and Carson McCullough hit a quick-fire 31 to get his team close to the low total.
Thank you to the MCC for the 2 games, Stormont for hosting and the umpires for officiating both games.
