The Rario IP50 fixture takes place at 10:45 on Monday at Stormont.
Chair of selectors Andrew Cowden commented on the second match day squad announcement of the IP season:
Firstly I’d like to congratulate all of the players and coaching staff on an excellent performance and victory against Leinster on Tuesday. This was an excellent start to our IP season and we now turn our focus to preparing fully for Munster Reds on Monday and backing up last week’s victory.
The selectors have again selected a squad of 12 for our game against Munster Reds on Monday at Stormont. We’re delighted to welcome back captain Mark Adair to lead the side and we’re also pleased that James McCollum has recovered from an knee injury after showing excellent early season form. Unfortunately, two players have to miss out from last Tuesday’s victory and on this occasion they’re Josh Manley and John Matchett with Theo van Woerkom retaining his place.
We can also advise that Cian Robertson has been granted a short term loan to the North West Warriors to aid his development and maximise his IP playing opportunities. Cian still remains a big part of our future plans.
