The Northern Cricket Union in association with Erasmus+ obtained funding to bring two underage groups over to Desert Springs, Spain, for a preseason training camp.
The NCU Under-14 Boys development group is a mixture of 12 to 14-year-olds made up of a number of different skill sets.
It was decided for the girl’s group, with the evolution of a Super Series side based in the North, this was a great opportunity for NCU Women & Girls lead, and Dragons Head Coach, James Cameron-Dow to work with a combined group of NCU and North West under 18 girls to continue to grow the game in the North of Ireland.
A total of 10 coaches will be out with the two groups, with 5 of the coaches attending for 5 days as a coach development opportunity.
