Ulster Bank Schools Cup – First and Second Round Draws

The cricketers of Royal Belfast Academical Institution will begin their defence of the Ulster Bank Schools Cup with a trip to either Regent House or Lurgan College.

The “Inst” side is one of five seeded schools to receive a bye into the second round, among them last year’s beaten finalists Foyle College who will be at home to the first round winners of the Antrim Grammar School v Friends School tie.

The other three seeded sides are Wallace High School (away to Strabane Academy or Carrickfergus Grammar),  Campbell College (away to Sullivan Upper or Larne Grammar) and Belfast  Royal Academy who will be at home to either Ballymena Academy or Ballyclare High School.

The first round is scheduled to be completed by 29th April and the full draw is:

G	Methodist College Belfast	 v RBAI 2nd XI
H	Portora Royal School		 v Royal School Dungannon
I	Campbell College 2nd XI		 v Limavady Grammar School
J	Ballymena Academy		 v Ballyclare High School
K	Regent House School		 v Lurgan College

The draw for the second round has also been made with games to be
played by 13th May:
