MTB Emerging Knights Fixtures Confirmed

The Northern Cricket Union (NCU) has confirmed an extensive series of fixtures for the MTB Emerging Knights, throughout June and July.

MTB Northern Knights head coach Simon Johnston said, ‘With an increased player pool, it is vital that we provide our up and coming young players with as much tough, high quality cricket as possible.  A massive thanks must go to our sponsors, MTB solicitors, as without their support we wouldn’t be able to provide opportunities for our young players such as this’.

• Tuesday 4th June: v North West at Moylena, Muckamore Cricket Club
• Wednesday 5th June: v North West at Moylena, Muckamore Cricket Club
• Thursday 6th June : Leinster Lightning Bolts at Ballygomartin Road, Woodvale Cricket Club
• Wednesday/Thursday 19th/20th June: v MCC at Middle Road, Carrickfergus Cricket Club
• Tuesday 16th July: v Rob Humphries XI (World Sport Xchange, Professionals) at The Lawn, Waringstown Cricket Club
• Wednesday 17th July: v North West at Ardmore Cricket Club
• Thursday 18th July: v North West at Ardmore Cricket Club
• Tuesday 23rd July: v Irish Under 19 in Dublin (Venue TBC)

Start times will be confirmed on release of the squad for each fixture.

The NCU are hopeful of securing fixtures with Munster Reds in Cork in early September.
