We are on the brink of the Irish Universities Indoor Intervarsity competition which takes place this weekend. The IUCA Indoors began in 2006 and this is the 13th year of the competition. National University of Ireland Galway beat hosts Ulster University in last year’s event.
Ulster University are again hosting the competition at their Jordanstown campus. Ulster University Development Officer, Callum Atkinson has said “We are once again looking forward to hosting the IUCA Intervarsity Indoors on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd of February at Ulster University Jordanstown.
Ulster University continues to grow their partnership with Cricket Ireland, Irish Universities Cricket Association and the Northern Cricket Union as we are excited to host the indoor competition on our 3G facility which is understood to be the best facility to host indoor cricket in Ireland.
We wouldn’t be able to make this competition run as smoothly without the Ulster University staff, NIACUS who are officiating the competition and both Murray Power and Barry Keane who continue to organise and deliver Irish University cricket.
