UPDATE:Due to injury Michael Taiaroa has had to withdraw from the squad due to to take on the North West Warriors in the RSA Inter-Provincial Championship from the 4-6 June at Eglinton CC. Michael will be replaced by Greg Thompson from Waringstown CC with Chris Dougherty taking over wicket keeping duties.
The Northern Knights squad to take on the North West Warriors in the RSA Inter-Provincial Championship from the 4-6 June at Eglinton CC has been announced.
The squad selected for the RSA Inter-Provincial Championship match is as follows;:

- C Ervine
- E Moleon
- L Nelson
- Z Rushe
- J Shannon
- M Taiaroa
- J Terrett
- N Waller
- A Shields (12th man)
Peter Eakin is not available due to exams. Nigel Jones and Gary Kidd are unavailable due to work commitments.
Talking about the selection for the three day game, Chief Selector, Kyle McCallan said: “We’re pleased with the make up of the team although with the three day format some players are not available due to work commitments. I’m delighted to have Craig Ervine and Nathan Waller on board. They have both expressed a keen interest in playing for Ireland in the future and although not currently eligible, I’m looking forward to seeing them play for us.”
The Northern Knights, sponsored by Horwood Neill Holmes, will be looking to record their first victory following the close defeat to the Lighting earlier this month and the cancellation of the match against the Warriors.
The Northern Cricket Union would encourage fans from across the Union to come along and support the Knights next week if at all possible.
