Cricket Blitz
Jonny Gillespie Last Monday Instonians under 11s hosted a 6 a side blitz between themselves, Lurgan and Waringstown with Inst fielding an A and B team. The blitz was played with modified rules – 10 overs per innings with players retiring at 20 with the option of coming back into the action after the last man was out, everyone in the bowling team had two overs to bowl apart from the keeper. The teams used the opportunity to try out different combinations and generally just have a bit of fun! Well done to all involved.
