Holywood 1881, Instonians and Waringstown all secured their places in the semi-finals of the Gallagher Women’s Challenge Cup following three entertaining quarter-final clashes on Sunday.
Holywood 1881 v Lisburn
Holywood 1881 produced a dominant display to defeat Lisburn by 194 runs under the DLS method after the match was reduced to 28 overs per side.
Madison Landsman led the charge with a magnificent 127, while Lara Maritz remained unbeaten on 111 as Holywood piled up an imposing 302-2. Chasing a revised target of 305, Lisburn struggled to keep pace and were dismissed for 110 in 19.1 overs.
Rebecca Lowe top-scored with 39 for Lisburn, but Landsman completed an outstanding all-round performance by claiming remarkable figures of 6-22 to seal a comprehensive victory.

North Down v Instonians
Instonians booked their place in the last four with a four-wicket victory over North Down at Shaw’s Bridge.
North Down were bowled out for 151 in 28.4 overs, with Nicolien Janse van Rensburg making 50. Natalie Moore (3-36), Matilda McCartney (2-28) and Charlotte Robinson (2-18) were the chief wicket-takers for Instonians.
In reply, Instonians reached 152-6 with eight balls remaining. Matilda McCartney capped an impressive all-round contribution with an unbeaten 51, steering her side over the line despite a spirited effort from North Down, for whom Rebecca Webster claimed 2-21.

Waringstown v Muckamore
Waringstown edged a closely contested encounter against Muckamore, winning by 10 runs to advance to the semi-finals.
Abbi Harrison starred with an excellent century, finishing unbeaten on 100, while Penny Speer added 58 not out as Waringstown posted 192-2 from their 30 overs.
Muckamore mounted a strong chase, led by Beth McCrea’s 47 and Oshadi Ranasinghe’s 42, but fell just short on 182-7. Lucia Derby was the pick of the Waringstown bowlers with figures of 2-35 as her side held their nerve to secure progression.
