The Northern Cricket Union is delighted to announce a new partnership with Lancia Consult, who will become the new sponsors of all girls’ schools competitions across the NCU.
As part of the agreement, Lancia Consult will sponsor a range of girls’ schools participation events, including the NI Girls Kwik Cricket Finals Day, Year 8 Girls Super 8s, Year 9 Girls Super 8s, Year 9 Girls T10 Hardball and Year 10 Girls Super 8s competitions.
Lancia Consult will also support the NCU’s girls’ schools competitions, including the U13 Girls’ Schools Cup, U15 Girls’ Schools Cup, 1XI Girls’ Schools Cup and the Girls’ Saturday League.
The partnership marks another positive step in the continued growth of the women’s and girls’ game throughout the region, helping to support and develop opportunities for young female cricketers at schools level.
NCU Chief Executive Callum Atkinson welcomed the partnership, saying:
“We are delighted to welcome Lancia Consult as sponsors of our girls’ schools competitions. The women’s and girls’ game continues to grow rapidly across the NCU, and it’s a brilliant time to bring on board the support of Lancia Consult. Their backing will play an important role in helping us continue to develop opportunities and inspire the next generation of players.”
