Sandy Bay, Larne played host in glorious sunshine to the Intermediate Cup Final between CIYMS III and CSNI III.
Highlights from the final:
- CIYMS batted first and posted 182 from 39.2 overs with Roger Trigg top-scoring with 45 before being bowled by Matthew Kennedy who took 3-31.
- Neil Carson (38) and Callum Soper (35) batted well together and contributed a 59-run partnership to consolidate the CIYMS innings.
- In the chase, Gareth Thompson started well and made it to 31 before being c+b by Tony Adams.
- Skipper Gareth Lutton (51) and Patrick Lutton (64) scored the bulk of the CSNI runs with Roger Trigg taking 3-48 and Zach Braithwaite 2-13.
