Alan Johnston
The Union has learnt with sadness of the death of Lurgan stalwart Alan Johnston after a long illness bravely borne.
Alan served Lurgan for many years both as player and administrator and will be very much missed.
Alan gained three caps for Ireland and would have had more but for his deeply held religious convictions which meant he was unwilling to play on Sundays.
Funeral arrangements to follow.
