NCU Under 16 Cricket Festival 2019 (sponsored by Agile Communications)

NCU

This coming week sees the Northern Cricket Union host the Agile Communications Under-16 Festival. Teams from Cornwall, Yorkshire and Munster are making the trip to Belfast to compete in the three-day competition.

The opening ceremony took place at Campbell College this evening and representatives of the Union welcomed players and supporters to Belfast.

In attendance was Courtenay Mercer from Agile Communications. She said: "As a communications agency, we're all about telling stories. We think that sponsoring this event will give the boys some stories to tell once they return home. I think it's great for local cricket for us to be involved and forming a relationship with the NCU as well as providing support for the local game."

The NCU kick off the week at Woodvale Cricket Club tomorrow when they take on a Cornwall Cricket Board side.
