EVENT EXECUTIVE

The role of the Event Executive will be to support the Event Manager with all aspects of the delivery of Cricket Ireland's Home International fixtures, National Cup Finals, Conferences and Awards. It will be an extremely hands-on role giving the candidate the opportunity to be involved with the staging of large scale events at all levels.

2018 sees Cricket Ireland hosting a number of high profile events including the Ireland v Pakistan Test match in May and the Ireland v India T20I series in June.

COMMERCIAL AND EVENTS EXECUTIVE - 6 MONTH CONTRACT

This is an exciting role for an individual with a "can do" attitude who is looking for an opportunity to challenge him/herself working in one of Ireland's fastest growing sports.
This is a varied role and involves a mix of all aspects of the day to day operational support for a busy commercial department, including: event sales and commercial support, event planning support and coordination, providing support to the marketing team, management of CI Membership programme and liaising with CI sponsors.

ASPIRE GRADUATE

ROLE
ASPIRE Graduate - 11 Month contract

ASPIRE is a graduate employment programme that is being funded by Sport Ireland in 2018. This programme has been approved by Government with support from the Dormant Accounts Fund. The aim of this programme is to enable a number of recently qualified sport and physical activity graduates to gain relevant experience working in the sports sector and to develop relevant skills and knowledge. The successful graduate will receive an 11 month contract and will work directly for Cricket Ireland. Cricket Ireland are responsible for the recruitment and selection of the graduate.'

The role of the ASPIRE Graduate will be to support and coordinate programmes and projects in liaison with the organisation's business departments/units, stakeholders and volunteers. The successful individual will perform a wide range of administrative duties to support the organisation. This placement offers the successful graduate a significant opportunity to gain relevant experience and to potentially advance their career in the sports sector. Previous experience in a similar role is not required.
